How to choose a suitable air mattress?

If you want to have a high-quality sleep while climbing or camping, a comfortable sleeping mat for camping is absolutely necessary. Today I will share with you how to choose a camping sleeping mat?
How to choose a camping sleeping mat?
First of all, first introduce camping sleeping pads can be roughly divided into three types: foam sleeping pads, inflatable sleeping pads, automatic inflatable sleeping pads.
Foam sleeping pad
This kind of sleeping pad is made of foamed material. Its biggest advantage is that it is not afraid of being punctured, and it still has the ability to block cold even if it is damaged. Foldable for storage, lightweight material, very suitable for mountaineering use. But it is not suitable for use in winter or cold mountains, because the thickness is thin and can not well isolate the cold and damp air.
Inflatable sleeping pad
Inflatable sleeping mats must be blown into the air by themselves, or inflated with an inflator, there is only air in the sleeping mat. The air layer can slow down heat conduction and isolate the body from contact with the cold ground, which makes it more suitable for use in cold environments. The storage of the inflatable sleeping pad is also very simple, small in size, and convenient to carry.
Automatically inflatable sleeping pad
The self-inflating sleeping pad contains an open-hole foam, which can automatically open the sleeping pad, so that the sleeping pad can inhale air to produce thickness. Usually there is an air inlet and outlet. When you open it, the sleeping pad will start to inflate, and then lock the air port so that the air will not escape when you lie on the mattress. When storing, open the air port to squeeze out the air while rolling up the sleeping pad, and finally lock the air port to prevent air from entering the sleeping pad.
There are two types of automatic inflatable sleeping pads: thin and thick. The thin type is lighter and suitable for mountaineering, but it does not keep warm. The thick sleeping pad is larger and heavier after being stored. It is more suitable for general camping and family camping, and it is much more comfortable!
